Revolutionen: die ewige Wiederkehr.

Rivoluzioni: l'eterno ritorno.

• Revolution. Just revolving?

• The inner site of the gear box contains 12 toothed wheels with different diameters.
• Turning of the crank brings 12 figures on the platform into even new, but similar positions to each other (see also: The wheel of time).
• You will find Lenin, Mao, Pinochet, Guantanamo etc.



• Wiederholt sich Geschichte?

• Auf dem Tableau der Spieldose stehen zwölf Figuren und eine Scheibe auf drehbaren Achsen, an ihrer Vorderseite befindet sich eine Kurbel, die über eine Schnecke an der Unterseite ein großes Zahnrad antreibt, das wiederum eine Kette in Bewegung hält, die zwölf kleinere Zahnräder mit verschiedenem Durchmesser dreht.
• Bedingt durch ihre unterschiedlichen Drehgeschwindigkeiten finden die zwölf Figuren zu immer neuen Konstellationen zusammen.
• Man findet Lenin, Mao, Pinochet, Guantanamo, Vietnam u.v.a.



• Rivoluzione. La storia si ripete?

• Sul carillon ci sono dodici figure su assi rotanti, di fronte una manovella che aziona un grande ingranaggio, che a sua volta contiene una catena in movimento, con dodici piccoli ingranaggi di diametri diversi.
• Girando la manovella le 12 figure sulla piattaforma vengono portate in nuove posizioni simili tra loro (vedi anche: The wheel of time).
• Troverete Lenin, Mao, Pinochet, Guantanamo ecc.
