The Artist - Walter Dorsch

• Many artists were doctors of medicine, many doctors developed into artists. Intensive occupation with patients as individuals would appear to sharpen awareness of what really counts in life.

• The doctor Walter Dorsch (Professor for Paediatrics, Youth Medicine, Respiratory Medicine, Allergology and Natural Therapy) is in close contact with many and manifold people: children with radiant faces, happy parents, lovestruckt teenagers; but he has also experienced the shadowy side of life: the engulfing of the individual in the mass, jealousy, arbitrariness, cowardice, marital warfare, etc. The artist Walter Dorsch describes what he sees: "La condition humaine"

• I am working mainly with bronze, wood and iron forming anthropomorphic sculptures, often in groupes or fixed on a machinery describing our human condition („la condition humaine").
• Light drawing in black and white, digitally reworked coloured photographs, short films with musical accompaniment, books and exhibitions with partly serious, partly humourous background round up my kind of arts with multiple facets.
• The goal of my art is a dialog with the visitor. ART@WORK invites you to active participation and to a discussion about art, philosophy, politics, history and psychology.

Der Künstler - Walter Dorsch

• Viele Künstler waren Ärzte, viele Ärzte wurden zu Künstlern. Es scheint, als ob die intensive Beschäftigung mit Patienten als Individuen das Bewusstsein für das schärft, was wirklich im Leben zählt.

• Der Arzt Walter Dorsch (Professor für Kinderheilkunde, Jugendmedizin, Atemwegsmedizin, Allergologie und Naturheilkunde) steht in engem Kontakt mit vielen unterschiedlichen Menschen: Kinder mit strahlenden Gesichtern, glücklichen Eltern, liebenswerten Jugendlichen; aber er hat auch die schattenhafte Seite des Lebens erlebt: das Verschwinden des Einzelnen in der Masse, Eifersucht, Willkür, Feigheit, Ehekrieg usw. Der Künstler Walter Dorsch beschreibt, was er sieht: "La condition humaine".

• Ich arbeite hauptsächlich mit Bronze, Holz und Eisen, forme daraus anthropomorphe Skulpturen, oft in Gruppen oder in einer Maschine, die unsere menschliche Verfassung beschreibt ("la condition humaine").
• Lichtzeichnungen in Schwarz und Weiß, digital überarbeitete Farbfotos, Kurzfilme mit musikalischer Begleitung, Bücher und Ausstellungen mit teils ernsthaften, teilweise humorvollem Hintergrund ergänzen meine Kunst.
• Das Ziel meiner Kunst ist ein Dialog mit dem Besucher. ART @ WORK lädt ein zur aktiven Teilnahme und zur Diskussion über Kunst, Philosophie, Politik, Geschichte und Psychologie.

• Spielen Sie mit den Bronze- oder Holzfiguren, ordnen Sie sie nach Belieben an und stellen Sie ihre eigenen Gedanken, ihre Gefühle, ihre Situation dar! Bewegen Sie die Mechanik der Maschinenkunstwerke! Vielleicht wird ein Blick auf die Bilder Sie an politische, philosophische, psychologische oder andere Themen erinnern, die Sie beschäftigen. • Molti artisti erano dottori di medicina, molti medici diventarono successivamente artisti. Sembra che l'intenso contatto individuale con i pazienti possa accrescere la consapevolezza di ciò che conta veramente nella vita.

• Il dottor Walter Dorsch (Professore di Pediatria, Medicina della giovinezza, Medicina Respiratoria, allergie e medicina naturale) è in stretto contatto con diversi individui: bambini con sguardi raggianti, genitori felici, teenager innamorati; ma ha anche sperimentato il lato oscuro della vita: l'annullamento dell'individuo nella massa, la gelosia, la volubilità, la codardia, la guerra civile, ecc L'Artista Walter Dorsch descrive ciò che vede: "La condizione umana".

• Io lavoro principalmente con bronzo, legno e ferro, forme di sculture antropomorfe, spesso in gruppo o in una macchina, che descrivono la nostra condizione umana ("la condition humaine").
• Disegni di luce in bianco e nero, fotografie ricolorate in digitale, cortometraggi con accompagnamento musicale, Libri ed Esposizioni in parte seri, in parte a sfondo umoristico caratterizzano la mia arte dalle multiple sfaccettature.
• L'obiettivo della mia arte è il dialogo con lo stettatore. ART @ WORK invita a partecipare attivamente e a discutere di arte, filosofia, politica, storia e psicologia.

• Giocate con il bronzo o con le figure in legno, disponetele a piacimento e mettete in scena i vostri pensieri, i vostri sentimenti, la vostra situazione! Provate la meccanica delle macchine artistiche! Date una faccia alle vostre fantasie e ai vostri sogni. Forse un'occhiata alle immagini vi ricorderà un politico, un pensiero filosofico, psicologico o altre cose che vi interessano o che vi preoccupano. Date un'occhiata al film che descrivono la condizione umana che certamente conoscete. Visitate le mie mostre ed interagite con tutti gli elementi: le sculture, le macchine, i film, le fotografie, i libri e le discussioni.
